I have a headache today my dear friends at the Oprah Show...so trying to think of something to say as to why you should bless me with some tickets to the show is proving to be more difficult than it usually is. It's not a particularly busy weekend, a family dinner - a soccer game - maybe order some pizza in. I think I need something to make it exciting, don't you think? How bout a few tickets to come see the show?

Hi Oprah friends! Yesterday I wrote to you to tell you how I though Chelsea Handler was the funniest comedian out there. Last night I went to her show here in Chicago and I have to say, she wasn't all that funny. So maybe I need to change my answer! It certainly was a fun night out with my husband, but I'm sure it wouldn't compare to the fun I could have if you sent me tickets to see Oprah!

Hi! You recently asked viewers on Oprah.com to tell you who their favorite funny person is and I answer - Chelsea Handler! And guess what is so exciting about today (day 33 of my mission to get tickets to come see Oprah)? I'm going to see Chelsea Handler tonight! So, its not coming to see the Oprah show, but it may be second best! If you have Chelsea on your show someday I would LOVE to come!!

Dear Oprah Show Day 32

So I'm kind of bummed. Yesterday after I sent you an email about sending me some tickets to an upcoming show (not to mention the emails I sent the 30 days prior to yesterday), as I was hitting submit something caught my eye. It was a box that said "Be on the Show"...I clicked on it, and I saw another box that said "The reservation window is currently closed. Please continue to check back for updates on when the April reservation window will be open". How did I miss this very important box all this time?!? I will keep writing you to let you know how much I would love to come see a show...but I'm kind of thinking right now maybe this is all kind of pointless. Maybe there is no other way to get tickets, other than to be lucky and looking at that box at the right time :(.

It's Sunday March 7th. You know life got busy when on Sunday March 7th you are getting together with close friends to celebrate Christmas! You read that right, the Christmas presents are still sitting in the corner of the living room for our friends and today we are finally getting together to celebrate! So since it's Christmas in March at our house -- do you have a Christmas present for me? Maybe some tickets to an upcoming show?

Dear Oprah Show Day 29

I love when I wake up in the morning and the sun is shining! I don't however love it when my 3 year old toddles into my room and starts barking at me "Mommy, I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED Juice"..."MOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMYYYYYYYY, put Mickey on"! I was hoping my husband was back from a morning run so he could deal with it and I could sleep in, but alas that was not the case and I had to muster myself out of bed in the 6 o'clock hour. Boo. No way to start a beautiful sun shining Saturday morning right?

So let's turn this day around into a happy, I-can't-believe-this-is-happening-to-me kind of day. I would love to hear from you...I would love the hear a beautiful sentence from you...that sing songy sentence that I keep hearing in my mind..."Hi Christi, this is the Oprah show we'd love to send you some tickets"!
